The Big Wins

  1. Traveled to England for our honeymoon (and an extension of our wedding tour). We spent time in London, Liverpool, St. Helens, Chester, Huddersfield, and even took a quick trip to Llangollen, Whales. See my photos in my blog post recapping the trip here.

  2. Participated in a week-long artist residency in Peoria with my friend Barbie. Highlights included spending quality time with friends, attending local arts events, presenting to one of Alex’s classes at Eureka College, and making artwork around the theme of friendship.

General Updates + Accomplishments:

  • Launched in 10 Rally House stores. You can now find select Lettering Works products at the Fashion Outlets of Chicago, Southridge Mall, Mayfair Collection, Old Orchard, Wrigleyville, Brookfield Square, Village Crossing, Fox Valley Mall, Orland Square, and Woodfield Mall.

  • Added new products to Faire, including a new Milwaukee, WI thick magnet and pillows printed by Narrative Material.

  • Created semi-custom designs for Flyover Chicago. And put two magnets into production for a big restock at the Peoria International Airport.

  • Aided in designing the next sticker in the Steph’s Stickers collection: “Your art is what you make of it” while I was in Peoria.

  • Featured by Nest in their Get Out the Vote collection, where two of my stickers: “Vote Because Your Voice Matters” and “Elect Women” stickers are available for purchase.

  • Submitted my renewal for ACDBE and DBE certification. I also submitted my work for inclusion in Typism’s 10th book and was invited to design a Lotería card with AIGA Chicago.

  • Featured on the GSD Factor Podcast and recorded a podcast episode with my friend Pooja. As always, you can find all my interviews and press features here.

  • Spent time with family in Milwaukee to celebrate my cousin’s 40th birthday and had an early birthday brunch with my parents and Daniel.

I spent 21 out of 30 days outside of Chicago in September. Being away from work as usual for most of the month served as a creative reset. I enjoyed soaking up lots of inspiration in England and getting back to art making in Peoria.

In October, I am most looking forward to celebrating my birthday, attending Adobe MAX, and continuing to make time for more art-making. Reach out if you’d like to work together, I am continuing to prioritize new branding and logo projects as well as custom merchandise and wholesale.

Thank you for being here, for supporting me, and for following along with my entrepreneurial journey.
